Patrice Lumumba
The first legally elected Prime minister of the Congo was Patrice Lumumba who was born in 1925 and died in 1961. Lumumba was a poet and founded the MNC (Mouvement National Congolais). He was born in the Onalua. Patrice attended a Protestant mission school and soon after he went to go work in kindu-Port-Empain.
