Refugees
Refugees walking together
The DRC has 180,000 refugees in their country, most of who are in North and South Kivu, Bas Congo, Katanga, Bandundu, and Kasai regions. The refugees are from Angola, Burundi, Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, and Sudan. Many of these refugees are forced from their homes by wars going on around them, that they have nothing to do with. Almost two million people are still displaced from their homes in the DRC. Also 450,000 people reside in other neighboring countries, while they avoid the fighting going on around them.
